Slice of Life Café at 1380 Howard St. is a 6-month paid internship teaching necessary skills to work in a café, customer service or retail environment. Participants earn a CA ServeSafe Food Handler Certificate and learn:
- Food Safety and Sanitation Practices
- Operate a Point of Sale Register
- Customer Service Skills
- Short Order Cooking and Food Prep
